Single-shot pistol made on a .38 SA top-break revolver frame with the recoil shield left intact. Black hard rubber extended grips. Target sights. Available as a single-shot pistol or as a combination set with a .38 SA barrel and cylinder. First model frames retained cylinder stop and hand cuts. Latter models were not offered in combination form with the recoil shield and cylinder stop and hand cuts eliminated.
The is a rare all matching serial number model that started life as a dedicated single shot Model of 1891 of which a mere 862 were produced in .22 long rifle.
